S.W.A.T. Magazine TV will be launching its second season next Wednesday, June 30th
exclusively on Outdoor Channel!
Check out the Teaser for the new season HERE.
This season will follow a very similar format to our Award Winning first season, with featured guest instructors working with armed professionals covering topics including Officer Rescues, Handgun Skill Development, Active Shooter Response, Vehicle PIT Maneuvers, multiple target engagement and one handed weapons use. As Always, I will discuss applications of this high level training to the viewers at home. This unique approach to educational and
entertaining television is what sets S.W.A.T. Magazine TV apart from other shows in the genre. Our new guest instructors include Jeff Gonzales (Trident Concepts), John Chapman (LMS Defense) “Super Dave” Harrington (Combatspeed), Dan Lowyns (Modern Paladin), Mike Seeklander (US Shooting Academy) and Mike McGovern (Bondurant School).
The Second Season is being sponsored by Cheaper Than Dirt!, LaserLyte, GunVault, Blackhawk Products Group and Cross Breed Holsters. S.W.A.T. Magazine TV is proud to be associated with these companies and we appreciate their support. Cheaper Than Dirt will continue to be our primary segment sponsor, supporting the extensive Instructional Segments. Principals from both GunVault and LaserLyte joined us during taping to share new product and company information with our viewers, including sneak peeks at products that will not be released until later this year and BlackHawk, another returning sponsor, will have several products in use during training pieces throughout the season. Cross Breed Holsters has stepped in as a segment sponsor for Brent Wheat’s Street Smarts. Street Smarts is a popular segment that covers lessons learned from over 20 years in law enforcement. Brent offers concise, insightful commentary on topics that affect everyone interested in personal and family safety.
In the first episode of the new season, John Chapman will be teaching officer rescue techniques to members of the
Pinal County Regional S.W.A.T. Team and then he’ll apply the same concepts to the problem of needing to assist a family member who has been injured during an active shooter situation. A new theme for Season Two is the idea of “Always a Student,” a concept that I tried to exemplify last season by jumping in on many of the training blocks at the end of the show. Often, during these scenes, I would find an opportunity to learn or identify a failure point with our guest instructor. We received some great feedback on these true learning moments over the past six months. This time, we are going a step further by having our guests instructors take advantage of the opportunity to train with each other and show their dedication to remaining Always a Student. In fact, the first new Question of the Week segment will focus on this topic.
S.W.A.T. Magazine TV airs exclusively on Outdoor Channel as part of Wednesday Night at The Range. This season, we’ll be airing at 1:30, 8:00 and 3:00am Eastern Time. Set your DVRs, tell your friends and plan on tuning in! June 30th is the start of the new season on Outdoor Channel, so be looking for new episodes from many of your favorite shows, including a new season of The Best Defense: Survival! If you don’t have Outdoor Channel yet, talk to your satellite or cable company and consider adding it as part of a package or individually.
S.W.A.T. Magazine has been providing high integrity information for over 25 years, the first season of S.W.A.T. Magazine TV proved that we can do the same thing in high definition action! As always, I look forward to hearing feedback from our viewers!
Thanks for your support.
