TGO Leads Production Poll

Springfield Armory’s Rob Leatham is the clear Production division favorite in the Women of USPSA Steel Challenge Poll, and why not? When he’s slow he’s still faster than 99% of the shooting population, and he’s never been afraid to run an iron sight gun. In 2009 he finished 19th with his Limited gun, beating the likes of Michael Voigt and Angus Hobdell shooting their Open guns, and 22nd with his Production gun. In 2007 and 2005 he finished 14th overall with his Limited gun. And in 2003 he placed 13th Overall with his Limited gun. So you get the picture.

Now considering that Rob has been out of the run-and-gun business for a little while due to knee surgery, the Steel Challenge is perfect for him at the moment. Only Outer Limits poses and movement problem, but word on the street is that Rob has been practicing for this year’s match so there’s no telling how high he might finish.

Just as you don’t bet against Miculek with a wheelgun in his hands, you certainly never underestimate what Rob Leatham can do when the timer beeps.
