SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 30, 2016) — Team Smith & Wesson’s Randi Rogers won High Lady with a score of 266.12 in the Stock Service Pistol (SSP) Division of the Silver Dollar IDPA Championship, which took place on March 19 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She scored second SSP Master and second overall SSP out of 67 competitors shooting her Smith & Wesson® Performance Center® M&P® Pro Series ® 9mm pistol with 5-inch barrel.
The theme of the 12-stage match was based on the murder-mystery game CLUE, with stage names such as the Laundry Room, Bedroom, Patio and Observatory.
“The IDPA Silver Dollar was an excellent match,” said Rogers. “The range officers put on a safe and enjoyable event that had both challenging and interesting courses of fire. The match included moving targets, steel targets and many stages that required a lot of movement. I have been working hard on moving through stages to set up and shoot quickly, and my Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P Pro Series pistol performed flawlessly throughout the 12-stage match. I have never won three stages in a match before and I am absolutely tickled pink! I look forward to putting this experience to use as I head out to the USPSA Single Stack Nationals at the beginning of May.”
Rogers won a total of three stages during the event – Stage 2 (The Spa / Gym Room), Stage 7 (The Lavatory) and Stage 9 (The Patio).
