SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — Officials with the 2010 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships announced that 23 companies have signed on as silver level sponsor for the match which will take place August 19 through 22 in Piru, Calif.
“The industry’s commitment to the Steel Challenge continues to grow as we add more than 20 companies, including top shooting sports brands, to the 2010 Steel Challenge sponsors list,” said Tammy Mowry, Steel Challenge sponsor coordinator.
The latest companies to back the Steel Challenge as silver level sponsors are Action Target, Atlanta Arms & Ammo, Bar-Sto Precision Machine, Brownells, Bushnell, CCI Ammunition, Competition Electronics, Cylinder & Slide, CZ-USA, Fobus Holsters & Pouches, Hornady, Insight Technology, Kahr Arms, Pistol Dynamics, Remington, SBR Ammunition, STI, Surefire, Tactical Solutions, TechWear USA, Vihtavuori-Lapua, Winchester and Zorb-It.
These are just the latest industry leaders backing the match, joining the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Smith & Wesson, Safariland, Sig Sauer, Browning, Glock, Ruger, Springfield Armory, ADCO, Vang Comp Systems, Colt’s Manufacturing, Cold Steel and Chiappa who already signed on as major sponsors.
The Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA), the national governing body for the sport of Speed Shooting, is the organizer of the Steel Challenge, the premier showcase for the fastest shooters from around the world.
