Grand Island, NE – “Patriots Assemble!” will be the rally cry when Zombie hunters gather at the Heartland Public Shooting Park in Grand Island, Nebraska, May 31 through June 2, 2013, to battle the undead during Zombies in the Heartland – Pandemic 2013. This 3-gun match – (pistol, rifle and shotgun) – features a prize table valued at more than $220,000, and is expected to draw Zombie hunters from all over the country. Hornady®, Magpul, and the Nebraska National Guard are the premiere sponsors of the event.

Back by popular demand, this second annual match features 10 competitive stages, and five sidematch stages. Event sponsors are providing new and reactive zombie targets developed specifically for this match, with most targets falling over, moving, or exploding. An optional CQZ (Close Quarter Zombies) Shoot House will feature a maze of walls, smoke, lights and sound, and reactive zombie targets. Competitors will be armed with an airsoft M-4 with green laser and over 100 rounds of airsoft ammunition. Access to the Shoot House costs an additional $5, with proceeds donated to a military charity.
Operated under the Parks and Recreation Department of Grand Island, Nebraska, the Heartland Public Shooting Park is the largest and most complete public shooting facility in the Midwest.
