Proulx, who writes for the IDPA’s Tactical Journal magazine, also contested and won the High Press title.
“Everybody at IDPA headquarters could not be happier for Austin. This young man has demonstrated both a talent for shooting IDPA and writing about it, and we look forward to reading his take on the match in an upcoming issue of the Tactical Journal,” said Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA.
Among the Junior shooters, second place went to Lee Wills of Team Para who finished with 347.60 and 134 points down competing in the Enhanced Service Pistol division as a Marksman. Duncan McNaughton, also competing in ESP as a Marksman, finished third with 411.35 and 214 points down.
