On American Rifleman TV: U.S. WWII Bolt-Actions

AR162We think of the M1 Garand as the dominant rifle of WWII. But a lot of American soldiers, marines, sailors and coast guardsmen were issued bolt action rifles. In the review segments, we look at a game changer, the Springfield XD-S in .45ACP. In 1953, William B. Ruger introduced the Ruger Single Six and it came out at the right time. It was the heydays of Western movies.
