HARVARD, Mass. – Finishing 25th overall in the match, Joe Linskey won the Stock Service Revolver division title at the 2012 New England Regional IDPA Championship held this past weekend in Harvard, Mass.
Linskey, one of just four SSR Distinguished Masters, the highest skill level within IDPA, finished the match with a time of 304.16 seconds, scoring 43 points down, to outpace Bob Powell who finished first Master with 319.98 and 42 points down.
“Joe is one of IDPA’s best revolver shooters and showed why as he won seven of the 12 stages on his way to the SSR title at the New England Regional,” said Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA.
Elsewhere in the Stock Service Revolver division, Frank Palka took first Expert with 365.49 and 48 points down, earning him the High Distinguished Senior title. Glenn Weldon finished first Sharpshooter with 471.60 (100), while Wil Cournoyer took first Marksman with 447.53 (108).
