BERRYVILLE, Ark. – Officials with the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) announced the addition of Panteao Productions and Precision Delta to the growing list of sponsors of the upcoming Carolina Cup taking place June 14-16 in Oxford, N.C.
Panteao Productions and Precision Delta join Remington Arms and Smith & Wesson, the Carolina Cup’s two major sponsors, as well as Blade-Tech, Comp-Tac, Federal Premium Ammunition, GlockTriggers.com, Safariland and Trijicon in supporting the championship.
Panteao Productions and Precision Delta will each sponsor one of the 16 stages in the match, which is expected to draw over 370 of IDPA’s top competitors.
“We’re extremely fortunate to have the strong support of companies like Panteao Productions and Precision Delta whose generosity has helped make the Carolina Cup one of the largest and most popular competitions in IDPA,” said Scott Ruby, sponsor coordinator for the Carolina Cup.
In addition to sponsoring the match, Panteao Productions will be represented in the competition by shooting team members Dave Harrington, team captain Tom Yost, and Bob Vogel, the Carolina Cup’s defending Stock Service Pistol champion.
The Carolina Cup is one of IDPA’s three major championships and will be held at The Range in Oxford, North Carolina where shooters are expected to put upwards of 75,000 rounds downrange in pursuit of titles in Custom Defensive Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, Stock Service Pistol, Stock Service Revolver and Enhanced Service Revolver, the five divisions in IDPA competition.
Considered by many to be among the most popular matches in IDPA competition, the Carolina Cup is known for its challenging course of fire that creatively tests all of a shooter’s skills. Due to both the match’s popularity and the explosive growth in IDPA membership, the Carolina Cup has been sold out since early March.
