WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Colt Defense LLC (“Colt Defense”) announces the election of General George W. Casey, Jr., U. S. Army (ret.) to the Governing Board of Colt Defense LLC.
General Casey served as Chief of Staff of the United States Army for four years from April 2007 to April 2011. Previously, he was Commander, Multinational Force – Iraq from July 2004 to February 2007. During his distinguished 41-year career in the U. S. Army, Gen. Casey received numerous awards and decorations including four Defense Distinguished Service Medals, two Army Distinguished Service Medals and three Legions of Merit. He holds a Masters Degree in International Relations from Denver University and has served as a Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council of the United States.
