HARVARD, Mass. – Gene Gelberger finished 29th among all shooters in all divisions on his way to the Enhanced Service Revolver division title at the 2012 New England Regional IDPA Championship held this past weekend in Harvard, Mass.
Gelberger, who is classified a Master level shooter in IDPA’s ESR division, finished the match with a time of 305.05 seconds, scoring 69 points down.
“IDPA is a challenging sport, especially for revolver shooters, but Gene’s performance this weekend at the New England Regional shows that wheelgunners can certainly hold their own on the IDPA range,” said Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA.
Elsewhere in the Enhanced Service Revolver division, Jerry Richard w
as first Expert with 420.81 and 86 points down, while Chad Barber of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy finished first Sharpshooter with 512.85 and 61 points down.
