Doug Koenig Championship Season Presents Just One Shot

Hamburg, PA., – This week Sportsman Channel (Thursday May 5, at 7 p.m. EST), Doug Koenig Championship Season returns to La Pampa Province in Argentina. As Zach dials in his Thompson Center Venture Rifle in 300 Win Mag, Doug verifies his zero on his TC Pro Hunter Pistol in .308, both fueled with Hornady Superformance ammo and topped with Leupold scopes.

After several days spent tirelessly stalking a particular herd, Zach makes a tight shot and drops his first Stag. Then, Doug and his guide follow the sounds of the roaring Stags, and an 80 yard shot results in the father son duo celebrating their awesome Argentina adventure. A lasting lifetime memory and experience is in the books.

Then it’s back stateside as Doug travels to Barry, Illinois for the USPSA Production Nationals. A twenty stage, practical combat course of fire including a Dark House awaits Doug. Executing a different set of skills and mindset than what Doug traditionally shoots, his footwork and adrenaline kicks in with the variety of stages presented.
