Houston, Texas- Comp-Tac Victory Gear, a leading manufacturer of concealed carry and competition holsters, announces Team member Gordon Carrell’s ninth consecutive win at the TX State International Defensive Pistol Association Championship with the 2012 Stock Service Pistol (SSP) Division championship.
With a total time of 181.12, Carrell finished first place SSP Distinguished Master as well as the SSP Division Champion. Carrell, who is one of the few Distinguished Masters of IDPA in SSP Division, defended the SSP pistol title for eight out of the last nine years. For the remaining year Carrell competed and won the Enhanced Service Pistol Division.
“The Texas state IDPA Championship is one of my all time favorite championships. I have never experienced a more friendly or well trained range staff than the individuals who put on the Texas State Championship. I look forward to returning next year,” reflected Carrell.
Comp-Tac Victory Gear, a company that is fully dedicated to supporting all shooting sports, sent members of Team Comp-Tac to compete as well as sponsored a stage and set up a vendor area at the 2012 Texas State Championship.

Randi Rogers, also a member of Team Comp-Tac, competed at the 2012 Texas State Championship alongside Carrell. Winning High Lady and 1st Overall Enhanced Service Pistol Master Rogers rounded out Team Comp-Tac’s placement in the match.
