HARVARD, Mass. – Craig Buckland, shooting for Wolff Gunsprings and Tactical Defense Solutions, captured the Custom Defensive Pistol division title and finished eighth among all competitors this past weekend at the 2012 New England Regional IDPA Championship in Harvard, Mass.
Buckland outpaced all CDP shooters on five of the 12 stages and finished the match with a time of 261.66 seconds and scoring 66 points down.
“Craig is among the top shooters in IDPA so it comes as no surprise that he’d dominate the Custom Defensive Pistol division at this year’s New England Regional,” said Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA.
Mike Alexander, who finished the match just 6.04 seconds behind Buckland, took first Master with 267.70 and 66 points down. Second Master went to David Girardin with 283.87 (59), followed by Brian Steskla, third Master with 306.65 (73), and Charles Zaniboni finishing fourth Master with 307.38 (123).
