Streamlight Introduces Rechargeable Stylus Pro USB

EAGLEVILLE, PA – Streamlight® Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, introduced a rechargeable version of its popular Stylus Pro® pen-sized light, the Stylus Pro® USB. The compact light includes a USB recharging port, allowing tactical and other users to charge it on the go, using a computer or other electronic device, for enhanced versatility and convenience.

The new light features a white C4® LED to provide exceptional brightness and utility for a light its size – 70 lumens and 630 candela peak beam intensity over a run time of 3.5 hours. The light also delivers a beam distance of 50 meters. The fully regulated output provides consistent lumen performance over the battery life.

Highly durable, the Stylus Pro USB has a machined aluminum case with an anodized, abrasion-resistant finish. It features a convenient tail cap switch for easy, one-handed operation of the light’s momentary or constant on modes. The light’s Micro USB charge port is accessed by sliding back a water-resistant sleeve.

The Stylus Pro USB uses a lithium ion battery that is rechargeable up to 300 times. The battery recharges in the product in 2.5 hours. An indication LED displays red while charging and green when charged. The light also contains a digital control circuit that prevents overcharging. An optional AC wall adaptor also is available.

Measuring only 6.15 inches in length, the Stylus Pro USB weighs only 1.9 ounces. IPX4 rated for water-resistant operation, the light is also is impact-resistant tested to 1 meter. The light comes packaged with a USB cord, removable pocket clip and holster.

Depending on the configuration, the MSRP of the Stylus Pro USB ranges from $80-$100 and includes Streamlight’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.
