BERRYVILLE, Ark. – Lou Denys, Match Director of the 2014 Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship, has announced the team of Chief Safety Officers that will help run the championship.
Denys named Chad Barber, Joe Buchanan, Gene Gellberger, Chris Klassanos, Ken Lambert, Kitty Richards, Taras Rudko and Brian Steskla as the lead safety and scoring officials who will oversee the staff running the 14 stages of the competition.
“The Smith & Wesson Indoor Nationals has always set the standard for top quality match staff with its dedicated team of experienced officials focused on delivering a great competition. I am proud to be working side-by-side with this extremely hardworking and dedicated group of volunteers,” said Lou Denys.
The 2014 Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship will take place February 20-22 on the indoor ranges of the Smith & Wesson Shooting Sports Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Regarded as one of the finest competitive shooting matches in the country, the always sold-out Smith & Wesson IDPA Indoor National Championship represents the official start of IDPA’s competition season. More than 300 of the sport’s best shooters are expected to compete for titles in Custom Defensive Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, Stock Service Pistol, Stock Service Revolver and Enhanced Service Revolver, the five divisions within IDPA.
