With wins on four of 14 stages, Miller, classified an Expert in the division, managed to hold off Wil Cournoyer, Dennis Doti, and Chris DeForge in the championship’s closest event and won the SSR title with a time of 467.10 seconds with 118 points down.
Cournoyer, also an Expert, finished second with 467.37 (100), followed by Doti, a Sharpshooter, with 467.47 (124) and DeForge, an Expert, with 468.19 (62).
“The Stock Service Revolver competition was a true nail-biter with the hopes and dreams of all four top shooters hinging on the placement of any one shot in the match,” said Bob Biehl, match director for the 2013 New England Regional.
Rounding out the top five was Sharpshooter Greg Hayes who finished with a time of 552.33 seconds with 172 points down. Elsewhere in the division, Chip Dufault finished first Marksman with 595.91 (217).
