New England Regional IDPA Championship Picks Up Smith & Wesson As Title Sponsor

BERRYVILLE, Ark. – Organizers of the New England Regional IDPA Championship announced that Smith & Wesson, the 161-year-old legendary firearms maker that calls Springfield, Massachusetts home, will be the title sponsor of this year’s championship.

The 2013 Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship will take place August 16-18 at the Harvard Sportsmen’s Club in Harvard, Mass. The MetroWest Tactical IDPA club will again host the event which is among the region’s largest defensive pistol shooting competitions.

The 2013 Smith & Wesson New England Regional IDPA Championship is expected draw upwards of 160 of the region’s top shooters. Registration for the event is not yet open but match officials expect to make that announcement shortly.
