DISH Offers Month-Long Free Preview of Outdoor Channel in February

WHAT:  Outdoor Channel, (NASDAQ: OUTD), America’s Leader In Outdoor TV, will be available to DISH customers as part of a month-long free preview beginning Wednesday, January 30^th on channel 396.

Throughout February, DISH customers will be able to fully immerse themselves in the outdoor lifestyle via Outdoor Channel’s exciting programs.

WHY:  DISH’s subscribers will get to enjoy a peek into the array of outdoor lifestyle entertainment the leading network has to offer. Outdoor Channel’s authentic programming masterfully captures the excitement of the great outdoors through the eyes of esteemed hunting, fishing and shooting talent, alongside world-renowned actors, musicians and athletes.

With access to Outdoor Channel during the free-preview period, viewers can catch the fierce competition among two teams of active-duty U.S. S.W.A.T. officers in “Elite Tactical Unit: S.W.A.T.” or follow commercial fishermen on “Bottom Feeders” as they battle Mother Nature to make an honest living. Outdoor enthusiasts can also observe hunting legends Mark and Terry Drury as they lead their teams of celebrity and industry leaders on humorous and competitive turkey hunts on “King of the Spring”, or watch as 24 of the world’s top professional bass anglers vie for top honors in “Jacks Link’s Major League Fishing.” Other fan favorite programs currently on-air and gaining rampant popularity include: “Gridiron Outdoors with Mike Pawlawski,” “Heartland Bowhunter” and “Arrow Affliction.”
