LOS OSOS, Calif. – Apex Tactical Specialties, Inc. announced the release of their new Polymer Armorer’s Block, a multi-purpose bench-top tool ideal for working on Smith & Wesson M&P and Glock pistols.
Designed for use by gunsmiths, armorers and do-it-yourself gun owners, the polymer armorer’s block fills the need for a simple bench-top tool that does more than just one task. With its non-marring polymer construction, fully adjustable bosses and holes located in just the right place, the Apex Polymer Armorer’s Block makes easy work of polymer frame pistol disassembly.
“I designed our original Armorer’s Block out of aluminum just prior to attending the NRA Show in Pittsburgh two years ago,” explained said Scott Folk, vice president at Apex. “The response from those at the show was incredible and we were constantly fielding questions about price and availability. Since then it’s been redesigned into a more versatile tool with a durable, polymer construction that gun owners are really going to like.”
The Apex Polymer Armorer’s Block works with all models of the Smith & Wesson M&P pistol as well as with all Glock pistols. Packed with features, the block makes it easy to hold a frame in place while driving frame pins in and out, install trigger bars onto Apex’s aluminum and polymer triggers and install striker springs.
The block measures 7” long x 4” wide x 1.5” thick, which means it fits easily into a USPS Priority Mail Small Box and makes a great stocking stuffer for the tool and gadget lover in all of us.
The Apex Polymer Armorer’s Block will be available December 13, 2012 and will retail for just $29.95.
