Comp-Tac Wins at Home

Houston, Texas- Team Comp-Tac Victory Gear, a leading manufacturer of concealed carry and competition holsters, celebrates their own home turf victory. Team Comp-Tac’s newest member, Randi Rogers, wins High Lady in her new home state at the 2012 Texas State International Defensive Pistol Association Championship June 29th in Greeneville, TX.

With a final time of 212.17 seconds Rogers also finished 1st place Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP) Master Class and 2nd place overall in the ESP Division.

“Being a newly minted Texan I was looking forward to shooting the TX State IPDA Championship. The safety officers made the match challenging by making sure each shooter followed the rules of cover diligently. It was wonderful to be around so many professionals and I look forward to competing again next year,” commented Rogers.

Team Comp-Tac consists of company founder and President Gregg Garrett, Gordon Carrell, and Randi Rogers. Not only did they complete in the competition but Comp-Tac also sponsored the event and was on-site as a vendor in an air conditioned tent.

“We are extremely pleased to have Randi join us in our home state of Texas. While it is usually looked down upon to beat the boss, we look forward to seeing her complete in and win many more competitions,” joked owner and President of Comp-Tac, Gregg Garrett.

Gordon Carrell, also a member of Team Comp-Tac, competed at the 2012 TX IDPA State Championship alongside Rogers. Winning the Stock Service Pistol (SSP) Division Championship Carrell completed the championships help by Comp-Tac.

Next up for Team Comp-Tac, Rogers will be an Instructor at the MGM Junior Camp in Parma, ID from July 21st-23rd.
