PHOENIX, AZ (May 2013) – Tuff-Writer™ Inc., makers of the world’s toughest American made pens, have launched “The Ultimate Titanium Clicky Pen Project” to create a first production run of world’s finest titanium press pens. The Ultimate Titanium Clicky Pen builds on the success of their previous project and improves on it. Stronger than aluminum, lighter than steel yet corrosion resistant and able to be finished in multiple textures, the new pen is truly a functional work of art.

The pen is designed to be entirely modular, with each component being easily replaceable. The new tip has been re-profiled and the wall thickness increased. Tuff-Writer has also loosened up the tolerances on the nib to allow for more flexibility when choosing different replacement cartridges. Finally, the balance has been adjusted further forward for a better feel in the hand when writing.

The pen utilizes an all metal body and tip machined out of commercially pure titanium. To stay put in your pocket, the updated and nearly bullet-proof clip is made from cold stamped spring steel and textured powder-coated for durability and corrosion resistance. A machined Delrin spacer if fitted to allow the use of different cartridges (Fisher / Foray / Parker / Schmidt / Franklin-Christoph) and a machined advancing mechanism with a ball bearing cam design allows for reliable and silky smooth operation.

Tuff-Writer is utilizing Kickstarter to launch the initial production run of the Ultimate Titanium Clicky Pen and make it available for pre-order at a discounted pre-release price. As with all Tuff-Writer pens the Ultimate Titanium Clicky will be proudly made in the USA and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
